What does it take to be Police? As two of some of the best in recruiting and finding the talent our Province has to offer, meet Inspector Andrew Cooper, and Constable Danny Marttini – who together sift through the thousands of applicants in search of the special few who are chosen each year to join Peel Regional Police.

What do they look for? Can you prepare yourself today, for a greater chance at making the force tomorrow? Does currently working in an un-related field make you un-relevant?

One thing they shared was you must be prepared to change your life. This job requires your mind, body and soul – everyday. To prepare for a job in policing, you will miss holidays, birthdays, and your bed when there’s a major snow storm. Discipline and dedication are a must.

And how relevant is security to a career in policing? More than you’d think.
