PODCAST CATEGORY: Law Enforcement

How do you perform in a pressure filled, dangerous and difficult job for 40 years and keep smiling?

Our guest this week can answer that question for you, and more.

Meet Chief Stephen J. Tanner, the longest serving active Chief of Police in Canada at 20 years in that position. Now serving in Halton Region, Chief Tanners outlook on the work has always been – he ‘gets to’ do his duties, versus ‘has to’.

With a calm and endearing approach, Chief Tanner has navigated his career with a heart of gratitude, a humbleness to learn, and a servant attitude in leadership. After 40 years, and still smiling, there’s a lot we can all learn from his example.

Ladies and gentlemen – Chief Stephen Tanner.
