The Sentinel Effect – Recognition and Acknowledgment

Its hardly a secret that when we look for new Sentinels to join our team and expand our family, we have a set list of certain qualifications and criteria that we base our search on.

We’ve always considered ourselves a higher calibre and more finessed and upscale version of a security company. Our resume and accolades speak to the efforts we’ve made to make a name for ourself on this level.

Our quest to stay a step ahead of the average doesn’t end with our hiring or even our initial training process.

In order to remain consistent and strive for the highest goals, we need to keep this momentum going.

Enter the Sentinel Effect.

While our team strives to make each day better than the last, we’re constantly pushing the boundaries on our company limits, team limits, and personal limits.

In most instances, a personal commendation highlights the efforts and work an individual has put in to make themselves stand out from others.

In reality, these personal commendations are just that. After all, any extra efforts put forth by one individual a worth being acknowledged and appreciated.

With the Sentinel effect however, this goes one step forward – like a domino effect.

When you credit the achievements of one, you are acknowledging the efforts of others.

Our team has a solid foundation of helping ourselves personally, while at the same time, keeping in mind the goals of others and working with them to reach them.

Our attitudes, work ethics, strengths and weakness are all a reflection of our characters.

We are constantly building each other up and setting our team up for success after success.

When we see someone shine, we acknowledge them. Everyone deserves to feel appreciated and acknowledged when they’re going above and beyond and reaching the goals that they themselves, or even others, have set out for themselves.

A pat on the back is sometimes all it takes to make someones day.

And while we acknowledge those putting in the hard work, long hours, and risks, we also acknowledge those standing behind them.

The ones that have helped to train them and develop the skills that have brought them to where they are today.

The ones working along side of them to help each other through a day or a shift or an incident.

The ones that are at home, supporting them at the end of the day and motivating them to make it through to the next day.

Their administration that works behind the scenes to help set them up to be in the positions they are in and help to maintain a relationship even off the floor and outside of working hours. Ensuring that any questions or comments never go left unread.

Then there are the supervisors, team leads and management that are pushing for others to push the boundaries of their success and always keep reaching for bigger and higher goals.

Coaching and assisting all the way and seeing their efforts pay off with every acknowledgment, commendation, award, or shout out.

The Sentinel Effect is derived from hard work, tough work ethic, solid foundations, and the drive and motivation to continue to higher successes.

It is the epitome of teamwork – ensuring no one gets left behind or forgotten.

With every rung someone steps up on the ladder, they’re constantly reaching back and helping those behind them to follow in their foot steps and achieve their pace, pulling them up every step of the way.

The Sentinel Effect is selflessness. Its caring for others, for your team, for your clients, and for those that you meet along the way – just as you would care for yourself.

It is ensuring that fairness and equality is personified by our actions.

What starts as a very solid and core foundation, blooms into something beautiful. Something inspiring.

Its recognizing achievements, rewarding them, and acknowledging those at the same time that have had a hand in the process.
